December has arrived, which means Brooklyn is bursting with holiday markets offering local and handmade wares for gift giving.

We’ve rounded up a few of the options happening around the borough this year, with both outdoor and indoor markets among the offerings.

Tatter Holiday Market

Friday, Dec. 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 6 from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.
505 Carroll St., Suite 2B, Gowanus

The textile-focused organization is hosting a festive market with handmade garments and gifts as well as materials for your own crafting inspiration. There will be cocoa to sip and free gift wrapping. An RSVP for the free event is recommended.

Shop the Studios

Dumbo
Saturday, Dec. 6 from 1 to 6 p.m.

More than 80 artists will be opening the doors to their studios for one shopping day in Dumbo. Printed maps will be available to guide shoppers around the neighborhood.

Old Stone House Holiday Bazar

Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
336 3rd St., Park Slope

A pop-up market in the park surrounding the historic stone house will focus on the work of local artisans. Shoppers will be able to peruse jewelry, home goods, fashion, and more.

There is just one weekend to catch this market, which will include over 150 vendors offering jewelry, home decor, and fashion. The eighth annual market will also have family-friendly activities, food, and music.

Renegade Craft Fair Brooklyn

Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ZeroSpace, 337-345 Butler St., Gowanus

The Renegade Craft Fair brings the work of artists and designers from across the country to Brooklyn. Shoppers will be able to check out the work of more than 150 artisans.

Fort Hamilton Holiday Market & Tree Lighting Spectacular

Friday, Dec. 12, 4 p.m.
Fort Hamilton, Bay Ridge

Browse a festive marketplace with handmade items, treats, and other treasures before enjoying the lighting of the tree at 5:30 p.m. The event is free and is open to the general public, but registration is required.

FAD Market Holiday Pop-up: Boerum Hill

Weekends of Dec. 6 and 7, 13 and 14, and 20 and 21, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

FAD Market Holiday Pop-up: Dumbo

FAD Market has three pop-ups, all offering the fashion, art, and design for which the market is known. Each weekend will feature 150 makers spread out across the three locations. And for extra shopping time, the Dumbo market will be open daily.

Red Hook Holiday Market

Saturday, Dec. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 14 from 12 to 6 p.m.
Hook Studios, 161 Dikeman St.

The second annual Red Hook market will include over 60 makers and artists with goods for sale as well as hands-on activities like ornament making.

Essential Bushwick Holiday Market

Saturday, Dec. 14, 12 to 7 p.m.
114 Forrest St., Bushwick

The Bushwick market returns this year for shoppers looking to enjoy a drink while browsing for handcrafted gifts from local artists.
