Team effort

A trio of masked, gun-toting fiends raided a Bay 32nd Street apartment house, assaulted three residents, and stole several cell phones before tenants chased them out, police reported.

The resident in the basement apartment of the residential structure between Benson and Bath avenues said the three perps forced their way into his home at 9:15 pm on April 26. They held him at gunpoint and removed his cell phones. One of the savages stayed behind with the cellar dweller as the other two climbed the fire escape to the third floor. There they entered another flat and robbed the resident of his mobile devices. One of the goons stayed behind to watch the second victim. His companion went down the fire escape and entered a pad on the second floor. However, the family living there attacked him when he came in. He struck one of them with his gun before fleeing. The other two thugs ran out of the house at the sounds of the struggle and neighbors spotted them leaping over the back fence.

Bust a cap

An armed thug held up an Avenue U bodega for $400 on April 27, according to cops.

The cashier told police that at 1:55 am the crook entered the store at the corner of W. Eighth Street, pulled out a gun, took off his cap then threw it on the ground.

“Put the money in here,” the villain demanded. “Open the register. I am going to shoot you.”

The clerk put $400 from the till into the hat. The robber then fled toward W. Ninth Street with the money.

Shock and awe

A security guard beat then Taser-shocked a patron at an 86th Street bar on April 22, police state.

The victim said he was at the nightspot near the corner of 24th Avenue at 2:50 am when the house muscle bashed him on the back of the braincase with his stun gun. The guard then discharged several powerful jolts from the stun gun into the victim’s body. The victim went to Coney Island Hospital for care.

Phantom foe

A brute cracked a drunk man over the head with an unknown object on 86th Street on April 25, authorities allege.

The victim reported that he was walking under the influence of alcohol between 23rd Avenue and Bay 32nd Street when an unknown assailant ran up behind him and smashed him on his skull, causing a severe laceration. The victim was taken to Lutheran Hospital for care.

Cash out

A perp kicked in the door of an 81st Street apartment and stole $13,000 plus jewelry and three passports, cops say.

The victim said he left his home near the corner of 81st Street (SAME STREET TWICE) at 10 am. He came back later that day to find his door wide open, the frame damaged, and his valuables and identification missing.
