Guardians of the Galaxy
A housebreaking duo stole a Samsung Galaxy from a Stillwell Avenue home on Feb. 27.
The victim told police the two robbers came into his room in his home between W. 15th Place and Avenue Z and pointed a gun at him while he was laying in his bed around 8:40 am and ziptied his ankles and wrists before fleeing.
Community Chest
A package pusher stole an Alec Monopoly painting that was delivered to a W. 5th Street home on Feb. 10.
Police said the $1,325 painting was removed from the packaging outside of the home between West and Neptune avenues and left it in front of the home around 6 pm before fleeing.
Rollie, Rollie, Rollie
A crook stole a Role from an Oceana Drive West apartment sometime after Jan. 29
The victim told police she hosted a number of open houses at her penthouse between Coney Island Avenue and Seacoast Terrace and believes her watch was stolen by the many people who attended.
Real life GTA
A savage attempted to drive at two police officers on Brighton 1st Place who were checking the VIN number as the car was part of a grand larceny on Feb. 18.
Police said they had to jump out of the way of the vehicle between Ocean View and Brighton Beach avenues and then the car kept going forward around 4:30 pm towards the public.
Double kill
A robber broke into an a W. 25th Street apartment and stole a Playstation 4 and television on Feb. 16.
The victim told police he was at his girlfriend’s when his valuables were stolen from his apartment between Mermaid and Surf avenues that totaled nearly $500.
Struck in the middle
A mugger tried to steal a woman’s belongings, when another man jumped in to help her out on W. 33rd Street on Feb. 18.
So the marauder instead stabbed the man in the back between Bayview and Neptune avenues and punched him in the face around 10:35 pm, which was followed by the man being transported to Lutheran Hospital.
