The Brooklyn Bureau of Community Service presents its Sixth Annual BBCS Art Show, featuring art work from the PMO and TLC Art Therapy Programs.
There will be an opening reception for the artists, May 15 at 2:30 p.m. and the art will be on exhibit, May 15−22, 3−6 p.m. at The Space @ 285, Brooklyn Bureau of Community Service, 285 Schermerhorn Street, first floor.
Project Moving On (PMO) and the Transitional Living Community (TLC) art therapy programs provide therapeutic rehabilitation for more than 200 adults with mental illness. Art therapy is a specialized way of using the power of the creative process as a vehicle for healing, communication, self−expression, celebration and personal development.
