Teens arrested for allegedly assaulting police

Three teen girls were arrested after they allegedly attacked two uniformed cops on the street on Nov. 4.

According to police, the officers – a man and a woman – were fully uniformed and patrolling near Farragut Houses at the corner of Gold and York streets when the teens approached. The group kicked the male officer in the face and bit his hand and kicked the female officer in the back of the leg. Both victims were left with minor injuries, and the three girls were arrested for assault on the scene.

Athletic wear store robbed twice in one day

Robbers hit a Dumbo athletic wear store twice in a single day on Nov. 9.

The first thieves entered the Alo boutique at 76 Front St. just after 12 p.m., placed some jackets and pants n a bag, and exited swiftly without paying, carrying off more than $2,500 worth of merchandise. Just a few hours later, after the sun had set, another perp nabbed more than $1,400 worth of leggings and fled down Front Street. No employees were injured in either incident, and security footage was available, cops said.

Angry customer attacks shoppers

An irate customer attacked and attempted to steal from from shoppers inside a Downtown Brooklyn phone store on Nov. 7.

The victims were inside the Boost mobile store on Fulton Street when a man walked in just after 10 a.m. demanding a refund on his phone, police said. The man became irate and picked a fight with the victims, kicking and hitting them. During the fight, time victim’s Marc Jacobs bag fell the floor, and the perp picked it up and tried to leave. The victim grabbed onto the purse, and the pair briefly struggled before the bag strap broke, leaving the perp empty handed as he fled out of the store and down down Fulton Street.

Moped stolen, then abandoned

A pair of thieves stole — and quickly abandoned — a moped on Nov. 8.

According to police, the victim parked his moped on Adams Street near York Street at 1 p.m. while he made a delivery nearby. When he finished up just eight minutes later, the moped, worth $1,700, was gone without a trace. The victim called police, who found the bike abandoned just a few blocks away and verified the plate and VIN number before reuniting it with its rightful owner. The moped’s battery was damaged when it was found, police said, and it wouldn’t turn on. Surveillance camera footage showed two men riding the moped in the area.
