Underground ambush
A posse of gun-toting goons held up a man at the Atlantic Avenue Q-train station on Oct. 4.
The victim told police that the five fiends approached and snatched his backpack while threatening him with a gun on the Coney Island-bound platform at 10 pm.
Glassed!
Some villain smashed a senior’s head with a bottle on Waverly Avenue on Oct. 6.
A witness told police that the brute hit the 78-year-old man in the face with the bottle between Lafayette and Greene avenues around 11:10 am before bolting away.
Paramedics rushed the elderly man to Methodist Hospital for treatment of cuts to his forehead and bruises to the back of his head, according to police reports.
Doggone shame!
A malefactor threw a can of dog food at a man inside a Park Avenue bodega on Oct. 6.
The victim told police that his attacker tossed the canned canine cuisine at him during a verbal argument near Cumberland Street at 8 am, before running out of the store.
Inspector’s gadgets
A filcher looted a city inspector’s car on Grand Avenue on Oct. 6.
The victim parked his Department of Buildings vehicle between Fulton Street and Lefferts Place at 9 am and when he came back 20 minutes later he saw that someone had stolen his phone, laptop, and city gas card.
Heroic intervention
A Good Samaritan intercepted a phone thief on Flatbush Avenue on Oct. 9.
The victim told police that the bandit asked to use her phone near Livingston Street at 9:50 am, before driving off with it in her car.
Then, some hero ran after the car and took back the cellphone, before giving it to the victim, cops said.
