Man steals from subway rider on Christmas Day

A man robbed a woman inside the Clinton-Washington Avenues station just after Christmas Day began.

Police said the victim, a 22-year-old woman, was entering the station at 1 a.m. when the perp approached her and said “Don’t move, give me everything you have, I’m going to kill you.” Scared, the woman began to give the man her debit card, but another woman grabbed the perp to try to scare him off, and they both fell down the stairs.

The first victim said she lost her debit card during the scuffle and could not find it, though she did not see the perp grab it. Both victims suffered minor injuries from the tumble. Officers searched the area after the incident, but could not find the perp.

Woman arrested after alleged homeless shelter attack

Police arrested a woman who allegedly attacked an acquaintance inside a women’s shelter on Dec. 31.

The victim told police she was in her room at the Tillary Street shelter when the alleged perp came in and started an argument at about 12 p.m. The fight escalated, and the defendant allegedly tried to gouge the victim’s eyes out and bur her face with a lit cigarette.

Police arrested the suspected assailant on the scene, and said the victim refused medical attention for minor injuries.

iPhone stolen at crowded late night event

A man’s pricey smartphone was stolen during a late-night event at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on New Year’s Day.

According to cops, the victim was at a “packed” event at 141 Flushing Ave. at about 1 a.m. when he felt someone touch his front pocket, then realized his iPhone 15 Pro — worth about $999 — was missing. The victim could not see the thief, and told police the phone had last been tracked to an address in Cypress Hills.

Teens robbed at gunpoint on street

Someone robbed three teens at gunpoint on Lafayette Avenue on Dec. 27.

The trio were walking near the corner of St. Felix Street, at about 1 a.m., headed toward the train station, when an unknown perp walked up to them with a handgun and told them to “run their pockets.” The first victim handed over her iPhone 11 and a friend’s portable charger, but the other two victims had nothing to give, cops said. The perp fled the scene, leaving the victims uninjured.
