A man was attacked by a group of thieves after he took a photo of them in the act of stealing a moped in Clinton Hill on April 6.

According to the victim, he was walking by the intersection of Flushing Avenue and Hall Street at around 3:30 p.m. when he stopped to take a photo of a group of men who were in the process of stealing a chained-up moped.

He told police that the men confronted him, took his phone and smashed it on the ground before one of them pulled out a knife to further threaten him.
