There’s been a lot of noise about how loud Triple Crown bar gets, and after months of battles with its neighbors and Community Board 1, the bar is doing something about it.
On Sunday, Oct. 28, owner Myles Tipley is hosting “Can I Live?” a benefit to help recoup his costs of renovating the bar to quiet his unhappy neighbors.
Also, a petition will be circulated asking the community board to stop what Tipley considers to be its meddling in the sale of the space. The show will feature 10 DJs, which should get his message across load and clear.
