Barnes & Noble Park Slope is hosting a series of kids events throughout September. Events include:

Grace Chang – Storytime & Signing, September 9, 11 a.m. Join us for a special storytime as author Grace Chang reads from Jin Jin the Dragon; her enchanting story of a dragon that doesn’t know what it is and sets off on a journey of adventure and discovery to find out. For ages 4-8.

Kelly Ann Lynch – Storytime & Signing, September 10, 10:30 a.m. Join Barnes & Noble Park Slope for a special storytime honoring Brooklyn-born New York Fire Department Chaplain and 9/11 hero, Father Mychal Judge. Kelly Ann Lynch reads from her book, “He Said Yes.” For ages 4-8.

Illustrator Bryan Collier – Reading & Signing, September 16 at 11 a.m. Join this award winning illustrator as he discusses and reads from his latest work, “Barack Obama: Son of Promise, Child of Hope.” For ages 5-10.

Teen Writing Workshop with Author Ned Vizzini – writing group, September 26 at 5 p.m. Ned Vizzini facilitates a writing workshop for teens. Participants are eligible to publish their work on the group’s online journal, http://give-us-money.blogspot.com.

Storytime with Cathy and Friends – weekly storytime, Saturdays at 3 p.m. Join storytellers for an enchanting storytime. For children ages two through seven.
