In one of the worst losses of the year, the Clones were blanked by the mediocre State College Spikes — dropping their first-place lead to just four games.

Starter James Fuller was horrible, giving up six hits and five runs in the bottom of the first — more than enough for the Spikes. The big blow was a three-run homer.

The Cyclones mustered very little all night, though leadoff hitter Justin Garber was three-for-four.
