Thank you for the beautiful article on our storybook day, written by Helen Klein.
The students were thrilled to see their names and faces in print.
It was an especially meaningful day for us, because for the first time our inclusion students created books. To see these kids, who struggle against so many odds, proudly reading their creations to a crowded room of onlookers becomes very emotional for us.
Your words captured our special day with such dignity and joy. Thank you for such lovely coverage. I hope you will join us every year as we grow with this project.
On August 28, we will celebrate the opening of our annex. I hope to see you there for our gala event.
