You really don’t know how much someone meant to you until he’s gone. And that’s certainly true of Evan Gardner, our longest-serving intern ever.
This week, Evan left us after nearly nine months of great writing, solid reporting, a history of skipping late-night drinks with colleagues claiming that he needed to go home to have dinner with his grandmother.
We’ll certainly miss Evan — and so will Brooklyn Paper readers. So here’s our tribute to this fine young man.
