Airhead-bnb! Visitor crashes at the wrong pad — twice

He came to ride a bike, but ended up in a squad car.

Cops arrested an out-of-towner who was visiting Brooklyn for a bicycle race after he allegedly tried to crash at the wrong apartment — twice — on April 26, allegedly attempting to break into one abode, then falling asleep in a second, according to a report.

The California cyclist, who was visiting for the Red Hook Criterium, began his ride to jail when a resident of an apartment building on Third Place between Clinton and Henry streets said she awoke at 8:45 am and saw him trying to open her lobby door, cops said. The woman called 911 and the would-be home invader fled when he realized he had the wrong place, according to a report.

The pedal-pusher then turned up about an hour later, when a resident of a building on Carroll Street between Clinton and Court streets went downstairs to make coffee, only to find the cyclist snoozing on his couch, police said. The surprised man called police, who showed up and arrested the lost soul and charged him with possession of a weapon after finding a knife on him, according to a report.

Police had no information at press time about where the guy was actually supposed to be crashing.
