Filmmaker Joanna Lipper screens her remake of the classic Coney Island film “Little Fugitive” at the Coney Island Museum on Saturday. Lipper’s version, which features Peter Dinklage (“The Station Agent”), will be followed by a rousing panel discussion, “Coney Island: Past, Present and Future,” featuring Lipper, borough historian Ron Schweiger, Coney Island USA chief Dick Zigun, and moderator Kevin Baker, author of “Dreamland.”
The Coney Island Film Society presents a screening of “Little Fugitive” at 8:30 pm on Aug. 30 at the Coney Island Museum (1208 Surf Ave. between Stillwell Avenue and West 12th Street in Coney Island).
