If you’re hungering for a burger, you don’t always need to break the bank for a good one. We hit the borough and found some cheap — yet enormously satisfying — Brooklyn burgers, all for a Hamilton or less.
Grand Canyon
This Brooklyn Heights diner’s seven-ounce monster is a mouth-watering classic. The $7.95 cost includes fries, and, for an extra 90 cents, cheese.

Bark Hot Dogs
As the name implies, this Park Slope joint is better known for its hot dogs, but it still makes a mean burger ($6.25). Make it a combo and get the burger, fries and a drink all for $10.

The Commodore
This newish Williamsburg bar has become a culinary destination, thanks to its delicious pub grub. That includes a tasty, compact burger ($6) that the Village Voice’s Robert Sietsema called possibly the best burger he ate last year.

Junior’s
Come here hungry, as you definitely get your money’s worth at this Downtown destination, thanks to a 10-ounce char-broiled “steak burger” ($8.95). You might not have room for cheesecake (yeah, right).

Morton’s The Steakhouse
Yes, Morton’s is a pricey steakhouse, but you can still get three mini-cheeseburgers for only $7 during the weekday “power hour” special, so plan accordingly.

Hope and Anchor
Try the Classic Red Hook Burger — a half-pound of fresh Angus beef topped with bacon, cheddar, and grilled onions, served with fries and greens on the side, all for only $8.

Pipin’s Pub
At this Bay Ridge bar, get a burger, fries and soup — all for only $8. Will they look down on us if we eat there every night this winter?

Salty Dog
Look at that — another Bay Ridge pub. This one has a delicious hamburger platter for only $6.95 (add $1 for cheese). What do they put in the water down there?

Dutch Boy Burger
In a neighborhood not overrun with pubs, this burger joint is a welcome treat. Its “Dutch Boy Burger” comes with stout cheddar, sauteed crimini, mushrooms and caramelized onion for $8.50. Or try the classic combo for only $6.50. Fries, though, will cost you extra.

Mullanes Bar and Grill
This Fort Greene pub is famous for its burgers, but you can still get one for under $9.50, including hand-cut fries.

Dram Shop
If you get hungry after a turn at Scrabble or bocce at this game-filled bar, you can’t go wrong with its double cheeseburger, with lettuce, pickles, mayo and mustard, and hand-cut fries. All for only $10, leaving plenty of cash for beer.

Peter Luger Steakhouse
You read that right. Peter Luger of all places can still make this list. That’s because its Luger Burger — eight ounces of USDA Prime chuck — is only $9.50. Cheese, or French fries, though, will still cost you more.
