Police have arrested one suspect in the Bay Ridge deli shooting where four men were wounded, officials confirmed on Nov. 17.
Cops identified the man as Sunset Parker Ivan Jimenez. The 29-year-old was allegedly one of three men who opened fire on a Third Avenue delicatessen on the corner of 73rd Street on Oct. 8 in what investigators say may have been a gang-related attack.
The shooter and two accomplices followed a man from a nearby bar and opened fire just before 4 am, wounding their target and three bystanders, law enforcement said.
The store’s 28-year-old clerk was shot in the left arm and butt, while a 44-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to his chin, a 46-year-old took a bullet to the back, and a 33-year-old was shot in the ankle, officials said.
Police charged Jimenez with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon. The investigation for the other two men is ongoing, police said.
