Mara-thug!

A crook stole a jogger’s purse while she ran laps in McCarren Park on Oct. 1.

The thief snatched the bag — which the 23-year-old victim left hanging from a tree branch — between 7:30 and 8 pm, cops said.

Snooze, lose

A thief pilfered a Morgan Avenue apartment on Sept. 28 while the resident was asleep.

The crook climbed through an open window between 3:30 and 11 pm, and snatched credit cards, a wallet, and $300, before escaping from the apartment, which is between Nassau and Driggs avenues.

Bike-by mugging

A vicious cyclist snatched a 32-year-old woman’s iPhone on Sept. 29.

The pedal-pushing perp grabbed the fancy phone from the victim’s hand at around 3:10 pm at the corner of North Henry Street and Meeker Avenue.

Hacker attack!

Crooks broke into a North Fourth Street apartment and stole an Apple computer and software between 5:30 pm on Sept. 28 and 11 pm the next evening, cops said.

The apartment is between Berry Street and Bedford Avenue.

Hooded hoodlum

A hooligan in a hoodie jumped a 50-year-old woman as she walked home from a nail salon on Sept. 30.

The crook shoved the victim to the ground near the corner of Manhattan Avenue and Jackson Street at around 9 pm, and snatched a pocketbook containing credit cards, IDs, keys, cellphone, iPod, and $150.

Sinister shopper

A thief pilfered a Bedford Avenue luggage store clerk’s purse while she was assisting customers in the afternoon on Sept. 29.

The crook got behind the counter, took the purse, and escaped from the shop, which is at the corner of North Fifth Street, with the victim’s credit cards, IDs, and $180.

Diamond mine

Jewelry thieves cleaned out a Kingsland Avenue building on Oct. 3, breaking into at least two different apartments near the corner of Nassau Avenue in search of precious trinkets.

• The crooks walked into the first apartment through an unlocked door between 7:40 am and 3 pm, snatching six rings, four pairs of earrings, a wedding band, a watch, a cross, and a chain.

• The same thieves then raided another apartment between 8 am and 3:20 pm — entering this time through a kitchen window — and grabbed twenty Tiffany Co. charms, four diamond rings, and a bracelet.
