Beadel Street shuns autos for good times

There’s a block party in the neighborhood – and you’re all invited!

Area frolickers accepted the invitation with good cheer as they gathered for street festivities along Beadel Street, where residents celebrated their neighborhood with a day of food, laughter and party amusements between Vandervoort and Porter avenues.

The cordoned-off block offered younger revelers an opportunity to ride their bikes and play with pals without fear of traffic.
