Beatings on the subway

Subway tumble

Two perps pushed a victim down the stairs at the Borough Hall subway station and mugged him at gunpoint early on Sept. 28.

The victim told cops he was heading towards the train at around 3 am when someone pushed him down the stairs and onto the platform.

The identity of the assailant became immediately known because he and an accomplice pushed a silver firearm between the dazed victim’s eyes and raided his pockets.

The pushy thugs made off with the 26-year-old’s cellphone, wallet and credit cards.

Subway rumble

Two perps snatched the cellphone out of a man’s hands as he rode the 4 train to Borough Hall on Oct. 14.

The 35-year-old victim was aboard the New Lots Avenue-bound train at around 6:30 pm when a thug grabbed the Blackberry out of his hand while an accomplice pounded the man about the head.

The doors opened, and all three rolled onto the platform, where the perps gained control, secured their phone and fled.

Gold snatched!

Someone snatched gold jewelry from a woman’s Jay Street apartment over the summer.

The victim did not report the crime until Sept. 9 — telling police that she had forgotten where she stashed her treasure.

Eventually, she remembered that she had placed the jewelry in her bedside dresser, and that it was not there when she went to retrieve it.

The burglar got away with a gold necklace and matching bracelet, a Rolex watch, and a fake diamond necklace.

Homeless punk

A homeless man broke into a park office under the Brooklyn Bridge and got away with cash at around midday on Oct. 15.

Cops said that the man is a daily fixture in Cadman Plaza Park near the bridge exit ramps. It is unclear how he got into the locked area of the park, but he got away with $250, a wallet, an ATM card, and IDs.

Gift of Apples

A crafty perp broke into a Hudson Avenue apartment and got away with cash on Oct. 14.

The perp stealthily opened the front door on the house, which is between Front and Water streets, without leaving a trace between 11 am to 5 pm, and left with $750 and a $700 Apple gift card.
