If you find Bed-Stuy’s rich architectural and social history sometimes overwhelming, a new tour offers an opportunity to focus on just one street in the historic neighborhood. Which street will be the focus will only be revealed to ticket holders for the Municipal Art Society tour.

The tour promises a study of intriguing residential architecture and tales of the people who shaped the development of the chosen street. Brownstoner columnist Suzanne Spellen and Morgan Munsey, both preservationists, will lead participants on the in-depth tour.

The in-person tour takes place on Saturday, May 31 at 2 p.m., rain or shine. Tickets are $35 ($25 for members). For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the Municipal Art Society website.
