Bensonhurst revels in the early rays of summer

Amusements for the young and the young−at−heart – plus vendor stalls brimming with retail delights – jumpstarted the season of fun in the sun with a street festival in Bensonhurst.

The annual extravaganza transformed 86th Street, between 19th Avenue and Bay Parkway, into a vibrant boulevard of outdoor fun as mom, dad and the kids joined friendly forces with neighbors and visitors.
