A jerk snatched an out-of-towner’s bike wheel on Dean Street on June 13.
The 66-year-old cyclist, who was visiting from Israel, told cops he locked a Raleigh bicycle to a pole near Sixth Avenue at 8 am and then visited his daughter. He came back around 7 pm and found his $160 mountain bike gone.
Bike sneak
A crook jacked a fancy bike from a shop on Vanderbilt Avenue on June 13.
The shop owner told cops he was working at Brooklyn Bike & Board near Dean Street at around 7:40 pm, when the store got busy. After the rush hour ended, he realized one of his bikes — a $500 brown Torker Graduate — was missing.
Air bagger
A jerk jacked an airbag from a car parked on Sterling Place overnight on June 16.
The 63-year-old driver told cops he parked his Ford Edge near Vanderbilt Avenue at 8 pm, then came back the next day at 8:15 am. That’s when he discovered someone had smashed his driver’s-side window and snatched his airbag and global positioning device.
Speed snatcher
A crook stole a purse from a woman at a bar on Flatbush Avenue on June 18.
The 29-year-old lady told cops she set her tan leather shoulder bag on a seat at Sharlene’s near Carlton Avenue at 11:30 pm, then walked away for about an hour. That was enough time for the jerk to swipe her purse, which was full of $60, credit cards — and Adderall.
Knife waver
A knife-wielding jerk threatened a man on St. Johns Place on June 17.
The 29-year-old victim told cops that he was walking his dog near Washington Avenue at around 5:30 pm, when a thug pulled up in a car, yelled, “I’ll kill you!” and jumped out with a knife. The scary guy and started to chase the man, but he escaped — and cops arrested a 34-year-old suspect the same day.
Slow ride
A weirdo stole a wagon from a man on Bergen Street on June 15.
The 57-year-old man told cops that he last saw his $75 wagon and $30 water hose resting in his backyard, near Underhill Avenue, at around 6 pm. He discovered they were gone the next day.
