Block party fever hits 70th street and 13th Ave

The neighborhood rang with good cheer as homeowners fired up the barbies and ignited the fun with a block party along 70th Street.

The day gave dwellers between 13th and 14th avenues an opportunity to relax outdoors with family and friends.

While grown-ups worked on their suntans and prepared potluck fare, the kiddies romped on the block and enjoyed an outdoor playground free of traffic.
