Long Island College Hospital (LICH) is hosting an informative seminar on Blood Conservation on November 22, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
The event, entitled Minimally Invasive Procedures Aid in Blood Conservation will be led by presenters Ximena Morales, MD (neurology) and Carlos Rodriguez, MD (cardiology). Following the doctor’s presentation there will be a question and answer period. The information should also prove to be helpful in making medical decisions and in the use of alternatives to blood transfusions.
The seminar will be held at the hospital, 339 Hicks Street in the Avram Conference Center, main floor.
