Alberto Baldonado was knocked around for six runs on eight hits in just two-and-two-third innings as the Cyclones fell to the Renegades for the second night in a row.
Three Cyclones bailed out Baldonado — whose earned-run average rose to a team-worst 7.56 — by throwing five-and-two-thirds inning of no-run ball, but it was too little, too late for the Clones, whose highlight of the game was a fourth-inning home run by Jhoan Urena, who drove in two of the Brooks runs on the night.
The Cyclones look to pick up a win as the return home tonight as the face the Aberdeen Ironbirds at MCU Park. Game time is 7 pm.
