The music department of David A. Boody Intermediate School for Magnet Studies/IS 228 will perform its annual Winter Concert, December 22 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium at 228 Avenue S in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn. For the first time, the school will also present a student art show on the same evening, beginning at 5 p.m.
The evening of arts will include performances and presentations by the school’s 80-piece symphony orchestra, conducted by Thomas Brennan; symphonic and jazz bands; 60-voice Boody Chorus; and student artwork by the IS 228 Art Magnet.
