Four people were seriously injured last week when three thugs allegedly turned a party at a Flatbush Avenue banquet hall into a bottle-throwing brawl.
Cops from the 70th Precinct said that Kevin Castor and Sam Fong, both 22, and Alain Mondesir, 26, were charged with assault, menacing and reckless endangerment after the November 8 altercation which ended with three men and a woman suffering injuries that needed medical attention.
Witnesses told police that everyone was having a great time at the banquet hall near Foster Avenue at 4:30 a.m. when the three men allegedly stormed in.
Officials alleged that within a few minutes, Castor had struck one of the victims %u2013 a man he reportedly knew — in the back of the head with a glass bottle.
The action soon drew a crowd. To warn them off, Fong and Mondesir allegedly punched one witness and then began throwing bottles into the approaching crowd, injuring two innocent bystanders, police said.
Doctors needed 10 staples to close the gaping wound Castor allegedly left on his first victim, officials said. Two other victims needed stitches and staples to close the wounds they received as well, police said.
Cops from the 70th Precinct arrested the three men a short time later.
Cops apprehended a 36-year-old man in connection with a car jack attack on Linden Boulevard.
Prosecutors said that Hance Layne was charged with assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon during the heated exchange near Utica Avenue at 11:30 p.m. on October 29.
The victim alleged that he and Layne were arguing when the suspect grabbed a car jack and struck him in the head and hand with it.
The victim suffered several blows to the head. He needed eight stitches to close a gash left on his hand, police said.
Cops took Layne into custody on November 8.
A drunken 50-year-old man was arrested for menacing when he threatened to hack up a neighbor who asked him to keep his music down, police alleged.
Police were called to Voltair Emilien’s apartment on Snyder Avenue just after 3 a.m. on November 5 just after the alleged exchange.
The victim, 48, alleged that he was woken up by Emilien’s music. He knocked on his neighbor’s door and Emilien, who was obviously intoxicated, welcomed him inside, police alleged.
His welcome quickly became a warning when the victim asked him to lower the music, police alleged.
According to published reports, Emilien became irate and allegedly threatened him with a carving knife from the kitchen.
The victim backed out of the apartment and called 911, officials said.
Police from the 66th Precinct said that the young man found dead on Clara Street in Kensington was “dumped” there after being shot in the head.
Yet the fact that the man wasn’t shot on Clara Street between Dahill Road and Chester Street doesn’t help investigators find the person who not only ended his victim’s life, but indirectly terrorized a quiet tree-lined block on All Saint’s Day.
Police said that the victim, whose name had not been released, was found shot in the head at 11:30 a.m. on November 1 just as residents of the quiet block were starting their Sunday.
Responding paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Initial reports indicated that the victim was shot multiple times in the head. The shooter may have been wearing a Halloween mask, cops were told.
Police said that they have tentatively identified the victim, but had yet to confirm the victim’s identity with family members. No motive was forthcoming as this paper went to press.
Investigators are reportedly working on the theory that the victim may have been shot in the car moments before his body was left on Clara Street. Some residents recall hearing gunshots that morning.

A 17-year-old was arrested for burglary last week after cops allegedly caught him inside his victim’s home, rummaging for loot.
Officials said that members of the Flatbush Shomrim patrol helped police nab Isaam Henry after he allegedly broke into the home on Avenue I near East 27th Street.
The owners of the home were reportedly away on vacation when Henry allegedly broke a back window and climbed inside at 1:30 p.m. on November 2.
A Shomrim volunteer reportedly witnessed the break-in and called 911.
Responding officers found Henry allegedly inside the victim’s bedroom with a hammer and a crowbar %u2013 tools of the burglary trade, officials said.
One person was dead and two others were wounded following an argument outside a neighborhood nightclub, police said.
Cops from the 67th Precinct said that they responded to a call of shots fired on Clarkson Avenue near East 51st Street at 4:21 a.m. on November 3.
When they arrived at the scene, they found two men on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both men were rushed to Kings County Hospital where one of the victims, a 21-year-old who had been shot in the head, died of his injuries. The second man, 18, was listed in stable condition after being treated for a gunshot wound to the neck.
A few minutes later, a 26-year-old woman wounded in the same skirmish came into the hospital, suffering from a gunshot wound to her right arm.
Cops were still investigating the shooting as this paper went to press.
