Lilting music, a romp with Santa and the lighting of a majestic fir ignited holiday celebrations at Borough Hall.

The 40-foot-high balsam fir bedecked with ribbons of twinkling lights was illuminated in front of Brooklyn’s White House, 209 Joralemon Street, to jubilant cheers from a large crowd of merrymakers.

Festive frolickers enjoyed seasonal serenades by area choirs, plus a merry mingle with Kris Kringle, who distributed holiday loot to youngsters.

Bushwick reveler Amayla Davis helped Borough President Marty Markowitz flip the switch on the radiant holiday.

The twinkling pine was a “gift” to Brooklyn and New York City, said Borough President Markowitz who presided over festivities.
