All players are welcome to participate in the First Bocce Ball Charity Event hosted by the Brooklyn Cyclones and Hunter Green Assoc. Ltd., August 23 at KeySpan Park, 1904 Surf Avenue.
The tournament will be comprised of players age 18 and above next year organizers plan on also having courts for those 18 and younger. Family members are welcome to bring their children and cheer on their favorite team.
Teams will be comprised of a minimum of four players up to eight per team. There will be two divisions: beginners to intermediate (zero to three years experience) and intermediate to advance (three years + or until you’re the Bocce King).
The cost to participate is $25 per player and, once you have registered, please send an email to let organizers know your team name and the name of the players on your team.
If you don’t have a team but want to attend, sign up with your friends and family and send an email with your name and group so that the Brooklyn Cyclones, Hunter Green and the Children of Bellevue can send you a thank you note. Your email will not be given to third party solicitors.
