Bad trip
A pair of nogoodniks stole a guy’s phone and punched him in the head aboard a 5 train near Montague Street on Jan. 31, police said.
The 22-year-old victim told police he was on the train near Cadman Plaza when the two baddies snatched his iPhone out of his hand, and when he tried to grab it back, one of them socked him in the head, according to authorities. The curs then fled off the train with his phone, officials said.
Stoop sneak
Some punk swiped a guy’s package from his stoop on Gold Street on Jan. 29, police said.
The postal service delivered the man’s package, which included an estimated $1,195 worth of camera equipment, to his apartment near Tillary Street a little before 8 am, but it was gone by the time he went to pick it up, officials said.
Tool thief
A crook swiped a bunch of tools from a construction site on Schermerhorn Street on Jan. 26, police said.
The jerk broke into the site near Nevins Street at about noon and ran off with two impact guns, hammer drill, and two battery chargers and batteries, cops said.
Caught with the clutch
Cops cuffed a guy for swiping designer bags from a Fulton Street department store on Feb. 2.
The suspect tried to run out of the Macy’s store between Hoyt and Lawrence streets a little before noon with a Dooney and Bourke and Michael Kors bag, according to authorities.
Grabbed and dashed
Some jerk stole a woman’s wallet from a Front Street store on Feb. 3, police said.
The woman told police she was inside the shop near Jay Street at about 11:30 am when a lout took her wallet with cash and credit cards inside, cops said.
