Batchelder burglar

Some crook looted $1,000 worth of watches and sneakers from a Batchelder Street apartment on Aug. 13.

The victim told police the thief entered his apartment located between avenues Y and X sometime between 1:20 p.m. and 4:20 p.m., before nabbing his valuables and fleeing the scene, cops said.

Love bites

Cops cuffed a man for allegedly punching, biting and kidnapping his former flame near 86th Street on Aug. 12.

The victim told police she was walking to the train station, between avenues X and W at 7:55 p.m., when he demanded she give him her phone, cops said.

When the victim refused, the suspect punched, choked and bit her, before shoving her in his car, according to police.

Fortunately, the victim was able to escape by jumping out of the vehicle and hightailing it, cops said.

Up in smoke

A knife-wielding thief tried to nab smokes and a wad of cash from a Nostrand Avenue bodega on Aug. 16.

The victim told police the thief approached the counter at the store near Avenue T at 5:05 p.m., when he displayed a knife and demanded loot, before ultimately fleeing empty handed, cops said.
