Gone for the holidays

A burglar stole an estimated $11,400 in jewelry from a 101st Street home sometime between Dec. 23 and Jan. 2, cops said.

The resident left the house between Third and Fourth avenues in Bay Ridge at 7:30 pm that Tuesday and returned at 10:30 pm the following Friday, police said. The thief broke in through the front door and made off with the goods some time during that span, a police report says.

Computer jacked

Someone stole a computer from a delivery truck parked on Fifth Avenue on Dec. 29, according to the authorities.

The driver left his ride between 76th Street and Bay Ridge Parkway in Bay Ridge at 4 pm and returned at 4:30 pm to find that someone had removed an internal computer valued at $2,950, police said.

Time bandit

A no-goodnik punched a Fifth Avenue pharmacy’s security guard in the face on Jan. 4 and made off with some watches, officers said.

The pugilistic shoplifter grabbed the timepieces from the store between 76th Street and Bay Ridge Parkway in Bay Ridge at 7:06 pm and tried to walk out, police said.

When the guard confronted him, he socked him and fled in a black sports utility vehicle, a police report states.

Gone in a flash

Someone snatched a digital camera from a guy waiting on the R train platform at 86th Street and Fourth Avenue on Dec. 29, law enforcement officials said.

The thief grabbed the camera between 11 and 11:15 am and fled to the street, police said.
