When the woman awoke that morning she noticed that her MacBook computer, her mandolin case, $5 in quarters, sunglasses, a flower plant, and the bottle of booze, were missing.

The woman told cops that she left her bedroom window open when she left her apartment, and noticed a hand smudge on the window possibly left by the perp, according to a police report.

The owner of the business told police that the criminal broke into his office by forcing open the front door of the commercial establishment near Third Avenue sometime between 3 pm on July 28 and 5 am the next day.

The crook got away with four Nikon digital cameras, two camera lenses, a laptop, camera batteries, memory cards, a computer hard drive, and other gear.

Cracked out

Police cuffed a 44-year-old woman who allegedly tried to take property from a President Street apartment on Aug. 2.

The 30-year-old woman told police that she went to go pay for gas at the station near Douglass Street at 2 pm, leaving her Louis Vuitton handbag on the front seat of her Mercedes-Benz. When she shortly returned she noticed that the purse, containing $200, was missing.

Police nabbed the tank-top wearing criminal the next day.

The 36-year-old woman told cops that she was leaving the eatery near Saint Marks Place at 6:30 pm when the suspect bumped into her on the sidewalk. She later realized that the perp slipped her wallet, containing credit cards and $60, out of her pocket when he got close.

The criminal tried to make purchases with his bankcard, according to a police report.

Dishonest workers

Someone looted a man’s Olympus camera and lens from inside his Prospect Place apartment on July 9.

The 46-year-old victim told cops that he let workers inside his residence near Flatbush Avenue when he was at work from 9 am to 5 pm.

The victim suspects that one of workers removed the property that was sitting on top of his desk in plain site.
