CardVault by Tom Brady has officially opened its third location in New York — this time in Brooklyn. Card Vault currently has locations in SoHo, East Hampton and now on Flatbush Avenue, just steps from the Barclays Center.
The industry’s premier national retailer of sports cards and memorabilia, CardVault soft-launched its new store at 80 Flatbush Ave. this month, marking its latest expansion into the New York market.
Collectors can expect to find premier card brands stocked at CardVault by Tom Brady, including Panini, Topps and Upper Deck, as well as non-sports options such as Pokémon. The new location also features a vault as the centerpiece of the store, where rare and exclusive memorabilia and collectibles will be displayed.
Beyond products, each CardVault by Tom Brady location also serves as a place where fans can sell, trade or grade their cards and collectibles.
“It’s an iconic city. It’s always been part of our mission as a company to bring fans into collecting and turn fans into collectors,” said co-founder Chris Costa. “It goes way beyond that, we think Brooklyn is an amazing community and we think that this part of Brooklyn is full of people who collect. We’re very excited to be here on Flatbush.”

In 2025, Brady obtained a 50% stake in the company, which was rebranded as “Card Vault by Tom Brady,” partnering with co-founder Chris Costa. The store’s main purpose is to showcase Brady’s lifelong obsession with collecting cards, which began at a young age — saving money to buy packs at local hobby shops and reading the stats on the back of cards.
“Sports collectibles and cards have been part of my DNA since childhood,” said Brady after purchasing a stake in CardVault.”CardVault has set the gold standard for what a modern fan experience should be.”

Prior to the official ribbon-cutting for the store’s opening, Brady made a special stop to surprise local fifth- and sixth-grade students.
To celebrate the grand opening of his new collectibles store, the football legend paid a visit to the Prospect Schools Downtown Campus. Joined by Costa, Brady spent time in the school’s auditorium talking with students about their shared love of sports and the hobby of collecting. The excitement peaked when the two tossed out footballs and trading card packs to students in attendance.

Upon arriving at the store, the former Patriots quarterback was greeted by a loud reaction from the crowd gathered outside, with passersby stopping in shock to see Brady, even if only through a window. The new location kept Brady’s appearance a secret to keep the event low-key, making the short visit even more special for the children in attendance.
The first 25 customers in line received free New York-branded Card Vault hats, which Brady happily signed. The experience of meeting Brady left those in attendance with a memory they are unlikely to forget — something that will likely draw them back to the newest collectible store on Flatbush Avenue.
