Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man and woman wanted for grand larceny after they opened up charge accounts at two store under false names and made purchases totalling $900.
Authorities say that the pair opened the accounts on May 6 at the TJ Maxx and JC Penney stores in the Gateway Center Mall by Starrett City.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at (800) 577–TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
