The High School of Sports Management, in partnership with the Brooklyn Cyclones, announces its Second Annual Celebrity/Charity Softball Game at KeySpan Park, 1904 Surf Avenue, June 7 at 1 p.m.

The High School of Sports Management is comprised of students on a collegiate path towards a career in the business of sports. The 2008 Celebrity/Charity Softball Game will allow these students to gain practical experience in event planning, sports media, journalism, marketing, management and operations, including sponsorship.

Brooklyn Cyclones General Manager Steve Cohen says, “The success of last year’s game is clearly seen in the growth of students at The High School of Sports Management.” This year’s executive team is led by Stephanie Leung, Crystal Olivio, and Raymond Moultrie. Principal Robin Pitts says, “We are extremely excited about this 2008 event and the increased exposure it will give to our Sports Management program and the Coney Island community.”

General admission tickets will be available at the game for $5 per person. All proceeds will benefit The High School of Sports Management Scholarship Fund.
