A collision between a private car and a school bus left eight people hospitalized in Marine Park Thursday morning.
The crash occurred on a residential stretch of Avenue T between Coyle and Ford streets at 9 a.m., according to a spokesman for the Fire Department.
One of the victims suffered serious wounds, while the remaining seven escaped with only minor injuries, according to the Fire spokesman, who noted all injured parties were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
A spokesman for the Police Department could not immediately comment regarding the collision.
