Community Board 10 will be conducting a public hearing to adopt and supportthe board’s capital and expense priorities for the Fiscal Year 2010 municipal budget at 7:15 p.m., October 19 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1305 86th Street.
The capital priorities developed by the board reflect the long range planning goals for bringing needed physical improvements into the district, which impact on the restoration of parks, sewers, roads, bridges and other municipal properties.
The expense budget priorities cover the operational needs of the municipal agencies, which provide direct services to the district as they relate to Police, Fire, Environmental, Parks and Transportation services.
The Board invites the public to participate in the budget process and welcomes suggestions. Copies of the Fiscal Year 2010 priority lists are available at the Board’s District Office, 8119 Fifth Avenue in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn.
