The Community Board 17 Education Committee is sponsoring an education forum from 2−6 p.m., May 30 at Samuel Tilden High School, 5700 Tilden Avenue and 58th Street.
The purpose of the forum is to inform parents and students of opportunities to attend some of the best high schools and colleges on scholarships.
This event will provide all the information and guidelines needed for seventh grade students looking to attend high school, and 12th grade high school students planning for college.
Proposed topics will include:
• Attending independent prep schools on scholarships;
• Prep−For−Prep information;
• Prep Nine information;
• A Better Chance;
• The Oliver Program, and;
• Getting into college
