A construction worker died after falling from a 13-story building on Pierrepont Street Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
The 23-year-old man was working on the roof of the building when he fell to his death at the corner of Columbia Heights just after 10 a.m., according to an NYPD spokesman.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and declared the man deceased, the spokesman said.
Someone filed a complaint with the Department of Buildings after the incident, saying that the site conditions endangered workers, records show.
The man’s identity has not yet been released to the public pending family notification, according to the spokesman.
