The Polish Singers Alliance of America’s (PSAA) member choruses of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania will participate in their 59th District Seven Convention, hosted this year by the Jutrzenka Singing Society, female chorus # 226, May 31.
All convention events will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa-St. Casimir Parish, 183 25th Street.
Jutrzenka’s Honorary President, Frances Gates, is chairman of the Pre-Convention committee.
The committee is preparing an exciting day filled with activities from morning to night, commencing with registration from 8-9 a.m.; a lunch break at 12 p.m. as delegates welcome arriving singers; rehearsals followed by a festival-style concert/competition; Mass at 6:30 p.m.; and a farewell/awards reception from 7:30-10 p.m., followed by the singers.
Jutrzenka welcomes all lovers of Polish choral music to circle their calendars and plan on attending.
