The victim said she was between Surf and Mermaid avenues at 5 pm when the brassy broad put her in a chokehold and pointed the knife near her cheek. Authorities say that the dangerous dame then attempted to strangle the victim with her bare hands.
Wood shop-lifter
A man was arrested for allegedly attempting to steal hundreds of dollars in tools from a Cropsey Avenue hardware store on Oct. 19.
An employee at the business at the corner of Bay 54th Street said that the accused took a drill, bit set, sander, grinder, and jigsaw off the shelves at 10:40 am, then tried to pass them off as already-purchased items by showing a cashier a receipt.
When the clerk noticed that the tools were not listed on the receipt, the defendant allegedly tried to force his way out. Employees restrained him and recovered the equipment.

The victim told police that the man in custody punched him repeatedly in the face between Brighton Second Place and Brighton Third Street at 1:40 am — fracturing his jaw and causing numerous bruises.
