Police are asking for the public’s assistance finding the man they say sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl on the subway while she rode the Q train from Flatbush to Brighton Beach on Jan. 20.
Authorities say the man followed the victim onto the train at the Church Avenue station near E. 17th Street at 7:18 pm. When the victim sat down, cops say the man started rubbing her inner thighs with his hand. When the victim exited the train at the Brighton Beach station, the man followed her, according to authorities. Then victim then called 911 and the man fled in an unknown direction.
The man is 5-foot-10, weighs 160 pounds, and has straight black hair, according to cops. Police say he was last seen wearing a leather jacket, black sweatpants with white stripes, and black and white sneakers.
