Tire slicer
A 39-year-old man was arrested for slashing the tires of a car parked along Shore Parkway on June 2, using an illicit gravity knife to do the deed.
The arresting officer was between Knapp and Plumb Second streets at 9:45 pm, when he said he saw a man slit the tire of a 1999 Dodge Caravan. The officer claimed to have found the gravity knife on the suspect, and charged him with criminal possession of a weapon and a criminal mischief charge.
Knife attack
Police arrested a 22-year-old man who they said threatened another man at knifepoint on Sheepshead Bay Road on June 2.
The victim told police that he was between E. 15th and E. 16th streets at 8:13 am when the suspect approached him and drew a knife.
“I’ll cut you, I’ll cut you. If I get arrested for this I will cut you and your family,” the suspect barked at the victim before chasing him down Sheepshead Bay Road, cops said.
Drink and ditch
Two men, ages 17 and 18, were arrested for leaving a Coney Island Avenue hookah bar without paying their bill on June 2.
Employees told police the underage teens left the bar between Avenues T and U at 1:50 am — skipping out on the check for several beers and the use of a hookah.
Bad kisser
A 33-year-old man was arrested for grabbing a woman and kissing her outside of an Avenue X bodega on June 2.
The victim told police that she was near McDonald Avenue shortly after midnight when the suspect grabbed her leg and arms, while attempting to plant a smooch on her lips.
The victim managed to free herself, and fled into the nearby bodega, where the suspect followed her and continued his assault.
