Dirty deeds
Police arrested a guy who they say stole laundry detergent from an 86th Street pharmacy on Dec. 6 and punched the security guard who tried to stop him in the face.
Cops say the suspect came into the store between 21st Avenue and Bay Parkway in Bensonhurst at 10:35 pm and snatched the soap. When a security guard confronted the accused, he punched the guard in the face and threatened him with a piece of metal, according to police.
Robbed at gunpoint
Two gun-toting goons took a cellphone and $100 from a guy on 65th Street on Dec. 6, cops said.
The man was between 21st Avenue and Bay Parkway in Bensonhurst at 9 pm when the heat-packing pair flashed the gun, took his stuff, and fled down 65th Street toward 21st Avenue in separate cars, a police report states.
The first robber fled in a rental car, and the second fled in a white Honda Odyssey, police said.
Door-busting burglar
Someone is busting down front doors and stealing electronics and jewelry from homes in a section of Gravesend, officers related.
• Someone stole $1,500 and electronics from a Bay Parkway apartment on Dec. 4, per the NYPD.
The burglar broke a lock on the front door of the apartment between 86th and 87th Streets at 11:30 am, police said.
• A thief got into an 84th Street apartment and stole electronics and jewelry on Dec. 5, according to the authorities.
The prowler entered the home between 23rd and 24th avenues at 7:30 am, a report says.
• A bandit broke the lock on the front door of an apartment on 80th Street between 23rd and 24th avenues and stole jewelry at 2 pm on Dec. 5, police said.
