Mass mugger
Cops nabbed a man they said attempted to hold up at least three Greenpointers at the corner of Humboldt and Withers streets on Nov. 24.
The first victim was confronted at around 9:45 am, cops said.
“Give me your money,” the mugger demanded, gesturing with one hand under his blue puffy jacket to simulate possession of a weapon.
The victim handed over $20, and the crook fled.
At around 2:50 pm, a second victim was trailed for four blocks before the mugger revealed a knife.
The would-be victim called cops and the suspect fled west on Withers Street where he tried to hold up another passerby before cops moved in to end his reign of error.
Outlaws guffaw
A gang of mean muggers laughed as they roughed up a 36-year-old woman and stole her iPod on Nov. 26.
The woman was near the corner of Driggs Avenue and North 12th Street at around 4:15 pm when one of the crooks grabbed her and held her arms while the two other hoodlums punched her in the face and head and grabbed the popular digital music player.
Gunpoint!
Four thugs robbed a 52-year-old man at gunpoint in a horrifying Nov. 28 mugging.
The crooks confronted the victim in front of a construction site near the corner of Jackson and Humboldt streets at around 9:18 am, as the victim walked home from a check-cashing business.
“Hey, don’t move” said one of the thugs in Spanish before revealing a small silver handgun he had been hiding under a hardhat.
The perp pressed the muzzle to the back of the victim’s neck while the other crooks pilfered the mark’s pockets for cash and yanked a gold chain from his neck and a ring from his finger.
Fingered!
Cops nabbed two crooks suspected of attempting to heist a power saw, box cable and battery from a famously stalled North Eighth Street construction site on Nov. 28.
Witnesses spotted the would-be thieves attempting to make off with the tools at around 10:25 am, but police were able to nab two suspects before they could get away from the half-finished building, which is between Bedford Avenue and Berry Street.
Teacher’s pest
Thieves snatched a teacher’s wallet from a classroom in a Bedford Avenue high school on Nov. 25.
The crooks grabbed the goods between noon and 1 pm, escaping from school — which is between North 14th and Lorimer streets — with $150 and credit cards.
Dirty thieves
A perverse perp stole a reveler’s wallet from a North Eighth Street bar on Nov. 30 and used the victim’s credit cards to shop at an adult video store.
The crook grabbed the unattended wallet, which contained $200 and debit cards, between midnight and 3:50 am and fled from the bar, which is near the corner of Roebling Street.
Once outside, the thief rang up $149 in debit card charges at Duane Reade and $35 at Fantasy Video, among other charges.
