Police are searching for a man who they say snatched a straphanger’s cellphone on June 8.

The victim was waiting for an R Train on the platform of the line’s Bay Ridge Avenue station at 12:30 pm on Sunday when the fellow ran up and helped himself to the victim’s iPhone, then fled the station, police said.

Cops released a surveillance-camera photo of the suspect, described as a age 18–21, standing between 5-feet-11 and 6-feet-2, and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. The guy was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and blue sweatpants with a white stripe on the leg.
