Police are asking for the public’s help finding the suspect or suspects responsible for shooting and critically injuring a 26-year-old man in Flatlands on May 11.
Authorities say a driver and possibly passengers in a gold 2005 Infiniti G35 shot the man from inside the vehicle at E. 49th Street and Avenue J at 7:37 pm. Cops say the victim was struck three times — once in the shoulder and twice in the chest. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
The driver fled in an unknown direction, according to police.
