Cops are on the hunt for a man who they believe fatally shot a cabbie in cold blood on a Bedford-Stuyvesant street on Monday morning.

A gunman shot the driver of the cab while it was on Decatur Street between Malcolm X Boulevard and Patchen Avenue at about 12:21 am on June 29, police said. Cops responded to a 911 call to find Naji Fawaz slumped over his steering wheel with several gunshot wounds to his neck and torso, authorities said. Emergency personnel took him to Kings County Hospital, where a doctor pronounced him dead, according to a report.

Police issued a photo that shows a man in the back seat pointing a gun at the cabbie from the perspective of the taxi’s dash camera.

Law enforcement officials ask people with information about the man’s whereabouts or anything else about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
